| Overview: Krahlick is another nice Western PA sandstone crag. It is located between Ohiopyle and Dunbar PA. This is a tough one to find without someone showing you where it is. If you can find it, you'll enjoy it. This is one of the most commonly climbed areas in South Western PA . It has quite a few routes ranging from 5.1 to 5.12. The climbs are primarily top roped, with a maximum height of 110'. Quite a few routes can be done trad lead, so bring your rack. Dont park your car too far away from the main area. The locals are a little rowdy if you know what I mean. Krahlack is one of the smoothest rocks around, unlike a lot of the rocks in our area which are very corse and gritty. Krahlack is used for some local climbing classes so try to avoid it on the weekends. |
